Eclectic Chair 428 airs Monday 7/28 1-3pm on Q90.1FM

Beginning next Monday August 4th and Tuesday August 5th
the Eclectic Chair 429 is being divided into two one hour shows.
They will be A and B sides of the same playlist number.

2012 & 2013 Irish Music Award Nominees, Siusan and Zig return to our series from their perch at 
The White Crow Conservatory in Saginaw. They will captivate us once again with stories and songs 
of people who made their way to Michigan from many different regions around the world.

Dave Boutette, the “Campfire Kid” will have you clapping and singing along as he enchants you with songs
he has written about the “Mitten” state and other traditional old thyme favorites.
Saturday, August 16, 7PM, Magdalen Fossum, “Girls Rock! 
Women Who Made History in Michigan”
13-year old Magdalen Fossum has been playing music most of her life and has appeared
at most of the major music festivals in the state.  Her program will be composed around women musicians
from Michigan and she will be singing with the sweetest voice and accompanying herself on ukulele.
Saturday, August 23, 7PM, Jamie-Sue Seal, 
“Motown...Hits & History from Hitsville USA”
Jamie-Sue most often performs as one half of the duo “Bottle Rocket Cabaret” with John Latini,
but this evening she will step out of her own to share some her favorite Motown hits!
Saturday, August 30, 7PM, Jay Stielstra & Judy Banker, 
“Manistee Waltzes & Tittabawasee Tunes”
Jay Stielstra, “Michigan’s Folk Treasure” writes and sings some of the most beautiful songs, like
Manistee Waltz and Tittabawasee Jane. You're bound to hear other songs with Michigan
 landmarks mentioned in his program. He will be performing with the equally wonderful Judy Banker.
All concerts will be performed on an outdoor stage adjacent to the Visitor Center
parking area. Please bring your own lawn chairs. In the case of inclement weather
concerts will take place inside the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center. Performances
are sponsored by the Friends of Bay City State Recreation Area, the Michigan
Council for the Arts & Cultural Affairs, and the Saginaw Arts & Enrichment Commission.
Donations will be taken the evening of each performance.
There is no cost for this event; however, an annual $11 Recreation Passport is required
